Barbeque and Fun Day
It was terrific to see 32 families and
approximately 80 people come along to share in a wonderful day at
Eltham North Adventure Park this year.
Thankfully the rain held off and the weather stayed fine allowing the children
to play on the terrific playground and for parents and friends to sit, relax and
have a chat.
There were two football games, one for the junior students and their brothers
and sisters, another for the senior students and many of the junior students’
dads and some friends. It seems as though mums were comfortable to cheer and
support from the sidelines this year.
The football games were played in good spirits and all students appeared to have
fun. It became quite competitive at times, with great skills shown. There were
many wonderful marks taken, tackles broken, sprints down the field and goals
kicked. 
I’m pretty sure there will be a few sore bodies over the next few day; including
my own! Thank you to Mark for his wonderful photos, to Joel and Brandon for
their umpiring of the Senior football match and to all who attended and had such
a great day.
Hopefully for those who were unable to make this year, you can make it in 2011!
